Prices above include one horse. Each additional horse adds 25% of the selected portrait size price.
For compositions involving multiple horses, size recommendations may be adjusted to ensure clarity and detail.
Framing available upon request, with simple, neutral finishes selected to complete the piece.
Each portrait is drawn by hand using graphite, working from one or multiple reference images provided by you.

The Process
From the moment you submit your inquiry, I stay in communication with you throughout the process to ensure clarity and that you feel confident in how the piece is developing.

Inquiry
Submit a request through the commission form with your reference images and a short description.

Review & Confirmation
I review your images and confirm whether they are suitable for a portrait. Composition, timeline, and details are finalized at this stage.

Booking
Once all details are confirmed, a non-refundable deposit of $225 CAD secures your place.

Drawing Process
The portrait is completed over several stages. Progress updates are shared so you can follow along and provide input. You may opt out if you prefer a surprise.

Completion & Delivery
Once finished, the drawing is protected between rigid backing. Gifts may be shipped directly to the recipient with a handwritten note.
Reference Images
Clear, well-lit photographs are essential for the final result. If you are unsure whether your images will work, include multiple options in your inquiry. I can help identify the strongest reference before booking.
On-Site Photography (Optional)
On-site photography is available for select locations. You will receive a curated set of 5–10 high-resolution, edited images per subject, suitable for portrait development and personal use.
Portrait Reference Session
$250 CAD
Focused session capturing one horse specifically for portrait development.
Additional horses: $150 CAD per subject.
Extended Session
Starting at $450 CAD
Includes additional images of your horse as well as your stable or property.
Available within the GTA, Niagara Region, London, ON, and surrounding areas.
FOR STABLES & EQUINE BUSINESSES
Artwork for larger projects.
Portraits can be developed as part of a larger project, including multiple horses and print-ready artwork for postcards or retail use.
